I hope this past month was a fine one for adventurin’ for you.

I took another wee break; contemplating my next hair-brained scheme to rack in the gilz. Though my plan to exploit Taru went slightly awry (who knew they were protected by Child Labour Laws? O.o), I came up with another plan that might work just as well AND earn me a pretty penny:

NM Hunting.

The idea never crossed my mind before, as I was perfectly happy killing Bees and Crawlers for Honey and Silk threads. But then I thought it might be worth a shot. After all, I did run into quite a few NMs on my many travels and managed to procure their most valuable drops when I fought them. I got a nice lil’ list of NMs that I was interested in taking down, grabbed my lvl 30 THF and ran out the door!

Um… well… it didn’t all go according to plan… yet. But I’m sure it will if I stick with it long enough. Guess it wouldn’t hurt if I went to lvl my THF to at least 45 for TH2.  :3

I decided to stay close to home and tackle some of the more notable NMs in East Sarutabaruta. Unfortunately Spiny Spipi wasn’t available for public appearances and Duke Decapod was getting his claws done… and was fashionably late as a result. But hey, at least he showed up. So I smacked him, he went down… and…

Nothin’.

Nadda.

Zip.

Zilch.

Da Big Goose Egg.

They’ll Be Dancin’ In the Streets…

With the Level Cap increase comes new Sub Job opportunities. I’ve always wondered how Dancer would fair as a sub for Red Mage, and thought that this would be an ideal time to find out. Course, my Dancer was only Level 20, so I had to take it out for a spin. Bucky wanted to level his SAM to 30s so that we can go on to the Jungles, so he came with me to the Dunes and Synced down.

died, but that’s only because he went fishing for a mob and stood there fighting it instead of bringing it back to our Oasis camp. Oh, and he forgot to Check them, so he ended up biting more than he could chew. LOL.

I ended up gaining a couple of levels before calling it a night. A couple of days later I did some soloing, and it went fairly well too. I plan to go back, but there was one thing that I had to take care of first…

Doughnuts Bring People Together, one RDM at a Time

The other day I got off my duff and headed to the past to do some Campaign. I only had about 5 days left before my current Ribbon expired, and I certainly didn’t want to start digressing. I had already made some effort toward a promotion, so I figured I didn’t have that much to go. As I was waiting by the Campaign Arbiter, an Elvaan RDM named Hkxcaliber ran up and stood next to me. After a while,  he checked me and told in via Tell, “nice gear.”

Honestly, I thought he was being a smarty pants, since I knew my gear’s… a lil’ sub-par I decided to check him and replied “I give your gear two thumbs up.” (since it was, indeed, good gear… I wants his Penitent Rope o.o) From there our conversation went from gear, to evil twins (he thought I invited him to a SMN burn the other day, which would be impossible since I hadn’t been on in a few days and have never SMN burn ever), to discovering that doughnuts solves the world’s problems.

The man is clearly wise beyond his years After a while we decided to do Campaign together We headed to West Sarutabaruta (I don’t have access to Castle Zvahl yet, which was our only other option). Well… there were many Tarus and Mithras running about, but no Campaign. We stayed there for a good 10 minutes before heading back and choosing a new locale.

There was one about to start in Vunkerl Inlet. Party Time! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

So we got there, grabbed some Tags, buffed ourselves and others… and waited. Then came the Orcs… 2 different groups… and an über-Gnoll. OMFG. Did I mention it was Lightening Weather and there was a Thunder Elemental wandering about?

Sunday, Bloody Sunday...

It was a massacre. Bodies left and right. A full wipe in less than 5 minutes. It was bad.

Soon, more folks showed up and joined in the madness. They managed to distract the Beastmen long enough for the rest of us to Reraise and get other folks up. Shortly after everyone was on their feet, a message came up saying that the Orcs erected a turret near the fortification… Oh good. Few minutes later, the Orcs retreated. YAYS! But then…

“A Campaign Battle has begun.”

Another one!? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU…

This one went much smoother since we had more people around to help this time. When it was all said and done, HK and I warped back to Windy. I had a chat with the Campaign Evaluator… and I gots a new medal!

I’m now the proud owner of an Allied Ribbon of Glory §§§§. Things are looking up

Shootin' the breeze with fellow RDM Hkexcalibur

I’ve actually been sitting on this entry for a while (no, really… I’ve been sitting on it. It’s not as comfortable as I thought it would be). I took another break from adventuring and forgot to post it. Oops

I’m constantly on the lookout for ways to stimulate me and encourage me to stick with “The Grind”. And I think I’ve found just the thing:

Campaign!

A few weeks ago, I stared at the Bronze Ribbon of Service I received for signing up with the Windurst Cobra Unit, and thought it looked pretty. Then I remembered that I got that over a year ago and never thought to update the darn thing. At the time, I didn’t think I stood a chance to since I was so low in level. But now that I’m a bit stronger, I figured it would be worth a shot.

I’ve asked my faithful Mogle-Pogle to smuggle some goods to me while I took up residence in the Windurtian barracks. It’s a simple lil’ space, but the hammocks are quite cozy (food, on the other hand, needs some work… bleh).

After getting settled, I chose to warp to our fortification in West Sarutabaruta, since a battle was about to start.

Oh man… I had NO idea what I was doing! xD I got my Allied Tags, I waited, these Yagudo came with 10 billion HP, and then there were these Giant Birds that were summoned by some guy, and they were eating the Yags like “OM NOM NOM!”, and then these other people show up and started dancing and piroetting, and ninja came with their katana and went “SLASH! BOOM!”, and these White Mages were casting Holy, and it was like “KABOOM-BOOM!”, and there was running, and screaming, and dismemberment, and leap frogging, and pants wetting…

It was truly chaotic. And I loved it.

I love swinging my sword and whacking mobs blindly, even though I’m barely doing damage. I love nuking randomly. And healing randomly. Heck, I don’t mind dying so much, ’cause I gots the Reraise up.

I did campaign so much that I actually got a new medal: Brass Ribbon of Service.

That was a while ago, though… my medal expires in 11 days   I got back on that Campaigning trail so hopefully I’ll earn enough to get me to the next medal.

Make Love, Not WAR

I’ve been running around as Warrior as of late (shocking, I know >.>). It’s the last of the Beginning Jobs that I haven’t leveled considerably (it’s been at 8 for the LONGEST time). I figured I would make the effort to get it to at least 25, making it a suitable sub for my Ninja (leveling the sub for my sub for my main, if you will).  So far, it’s not so bad. Managed to get it all the way to 20. Huzzah! I’m actually liking this more than I thought I would. I guess I have to head for Qufim to level now…

It has been a while since I last posted, hasn’t it!? I hope all is well and the fair Altana has been shining good fortune your way! ^_^

I’ve been on a bit of a vacation and have now returned, feeling all nice and refreshed (Refresh? Get it!? … okay, bad Red Mage joke ). Now, I’m ready to get back in business and is ready to attack all things with vigor… and perhaps cookies.

With rumblings of changes happening just around the corner, Buckline and I decided to get into leveling high gear and whip our subjobs into shape. My White Mage is sitting pretty at 39, so I chose to take Black Mage out for a spin, which was at 31. Bucky’s been switching between Samurai and Warrior.

I started out soloing for a bit in Rolanberry Fields using the trusty Fields of Valor and was getting some good EXP. Bucky joined me soon after and we relocated to Batalia Downs. At that time, he hopped onto SAM… his lvl 26 SAM… and we Level Synced… um…

The mobs enjoyed nom-noming our faces A lot. So much so that we decided to relocate camps to Yuhtunga Jungle. Bucky also changed his job to WAR (which was at 34). Things went much, much smoother and we’re making loads of progress! We’re gonna be there for a while, so I’ve asked Mogle-Pogle to forward my mail to Kazham, as well as send over the occaisonal Cookie Care Package.

Oh yea! Forgot to mention Crafting! I’ve become quite the lil’ Chief in the homestead! Cooking’s now at 43… and it shows! Buckline’s not spitting out Momma Minee’s Secret Pea Soup anymore, so it must be good. Or at least adequate. Om nom nom :3

I’m Swimming in Gilzzz!

Buckline finally sold his Scroll of Utsusemi:Ichi and got over 300,000 gil! O_O After much pestering asking him nicely and calling the Wifey Card, he caved and gave me half the gil. Now I have a whack load of gil burning a hole in meh pocket. I didn’t go on a wild spending spree, as I tend to do I am looking into investing it in getting Cooking up. But the Mog Bonanza‘s coming up, and I need my marbles! And then there’s finishing up my Gobbiebag Quest to get some extra space (Adaman Ingot and Rainbow Cloth, I’m looking at youuuus!). What’s a kitty to do? Any suggestions, fair denizens?

The Few… The Proud… The MaliciousGuineaPigs

If some of you recall, I was lamenting the lack of linkshell love I was feeling a while ago. That has since passed, but Buckline and I have been thinking for a while about starting our own LS. And that’s exactly what happened last night.

I bought a Linkshell last night at Windy, and after much brainstorming, Buckline came up with the awesomest LS name ever: Malicious Guinea Pigs. We were hoping for The Cookie Cobblers, but that name was taken

MaliciousGuineaPigs Mission Statement: We’re a social shell looking to have some fun in the world of Vana’diel. We also want to help folks get missions and quests done, and even those big game events the kids are talkin’ about Everyone’s welcome, of course. All we ask, is that you respect your fellow LS mate and be courteous

So here are the Founding Fathers of our uber-shell (would like to have more Founding Fathers, though. Folks I can trust and such >.> ):

Danara hit the ground running and recuited our first Cavy member, Fizzyfu! *huggles Fizzyfu* ^.^ Again, we welcome everyone, so if you’re on Bismarck and would like to join us, send a tell to one of us! We’ll be happy to have ya! Maybe if we have enough members, we could make a website. Hmmm….

Well, the day finally arrived. My furnishings were packed and Mogle-Pogle, my faithful Moogle (yes, I have revealed my Moogle’s name… shocking! ), went on ahead to get everything ready. All that was left for me to do was turn off the lights and head on out of my Mog House for the last time.

I haven’t taken up residency here in 426 Windhurst-Seraph Drive for very long (only a year and a few months), but I have some fond memories nonetheless. But now, I had to move on out and up. I rushed out and managed to catch Airship Flight 32310: Seraph – Bismarck along with many other Seraphians as we had to leave the planet we all called home. There were many cheers, some tears, and a bit of first-day fears, but overall we seemed to be a jovial bunch. Also, our Airship must’ve been a sign of what to expect, as it was in the shape of a Giant Whale

When we finally landed, I headed to my Mog House at 426 Windhurst-Bismarck Drive and was greeted by Mogle-Pogle.  He managed to arrange everything in my house in the exact same way it was on Seraph! I was quite happy with that, and saw that nothing was damaged during the move. Which is good, since some of these things would be really hard to replace.

So now that we were all nicely settled, it was time to find my buddies from Ashamen and get a new pearl :3 I contacted Ondara, and told me to head to Whitegate and meet up with one of the sackholders to get a pearl.

So off I went to Whitegate and… holy smokes, there’s lots of people here! So many people shouting for help with this mission and that! After looking around for the sackholders (and being unsuccessful), I was heading towards Aydeewa Subterrane to raise my Enhancing and Healing Magic, when I got a tell from Krillian (one of the sackholders in question) who told me he was in Whitegate with a pearl. He also told me that Beseiged was about to start! O_o’

Now, I’ve only seen Beseiged twice (and not a willing participant!) and died… both times. Horribly. So, I was a bit apprehensive to head to Al Zahbi. Then again… I’m a much higher level now than I was those first two times, so… who knows, eh?

I took a step into Al Zahbi and suddenly found myself with a whole bunch of item. Some of them tasted like Gummi Chocos and others tasted like… um… weird o.O’ Kept on runnin’ and… What the heck is THAT!? What were these things!? They’re bigger than my

What the &*^%$ is this thing? WHAT THE ^%*%%# IS IT!? O_O

the buildings here! O_O And there’s Lamia all over the place! And Skeles! I’m beginning to regret this idea…

Started throwing around some Cures and other magic. Hey, this ain’t half bad at all! I’m not getting any attention at -

*gets stabbed in the back from… something*

>.o Shouldn’t have thrown that Cure IV. Eeeeee…. *runs into a corner* ^.^

I eventually found Krillian during the frey and got a pearl to Ashamen. It seemed to take FOREVER, but we eventually drove the enemies away… and we kept the Astral Candy. However, once it was all over, there were piles of bodies on the ground. O.o And apparently we lost 5 Generals during the attack. What a Welcoming Commitee.

Looking back, I realized 3 things about Beseiged:

1. It’s hella fun. It’s a No-Holds-Barred Battle Royale.
2. I got a nice chunk of EXP… >.> Hmmmm…
3. Got me some Skill-Ups. A lot of them, too!

So I shall definitely do more in the future. In fact, I’ve done 2 more since that time, which I shall tell you about in the next installment of my Tales. For now, though, I have to eat my lunch before Phoenix Hanakaze gets to it.

That’s it: I’m quitting Moogle Ale cold turkey. Looks like I’ve been passed out for DAYS! Been trying to tidy up the place, as the birthday bash we had last week as wide. And what happens in the Mog House bunker stays in the Mog House bunker. I’m still trying to figure out what happened exactly, I’ll let you know… sans unsavory content

Speaking of parties, my dear brother Ezkual and I have been talking a bit about having a Special Party in a couple of weeks. We were thinking that maybe we can have a Seraph Going-Away Party. Gather as many folks as we can the day before Seraph gets eaten by Bismarck, gather someplace and just party like it’s 1098! If there’s anyone from Seraph reading this who’d like to figure out how to organize this, lemme know ^_^

GGG (or G3, as the Kiddies Call It)

So it seems that my time spent as a Level 60 Red Mage have come to an end. Well, not quite. But I finally (FINALLY) got G3 done =^.^= Papa Reiner took me and Buckline to Beadeaux and lead us through the army of intimidating Quadav and Smoking Cream Puffs of Doom that left us silenced or cursed. Good thing we came prepared with Echo Drops (and I came with White Mage subbed, and used Cursna on us. w00t!) The highlight of the trip for me was our fight with the Ruby Quadav. Man, he was tough! Or… er…. he looked tough. Bucky and papa did all the work, whereas I sat on the sidelines healing and making sure the troops were goin’ strong It really was thrilling and (hopefully), I’ll be able to practice on him as part as my training for my fight with a certain old fart.

A few days later Reiner and his trusty sidekick Holysilver (hereafter referred to as Hi-Ho-Silver because, well, he just is), were nice enough to escort Buckline and me through Davoi to get the Orcish Crest. Man, I don’t want to be around that many Orcs again ever! They’re big and smell funny (or maybe that was the smell of Hi-Ho-Silver’s feet; one can never be too sure…) I got dizzy navigating through so many different twists and turns, but we finally managed to reach the Crest.

Next stop: Castle Oztroja. I haven’t seen this much chicken since my Moogle went a lil’ craaaazy and tried to make Choco McNuggets at the Chocobo Retirement House o.O’

We were all gathering at the entrance of Castle O  waiting for Hi-Ho-Silver, who was still getting some things in Sandy, we ran into a Samurai named Setto. He too needed the Yagudo Crest to finish up his G3, so we brought him along ^_^ Once Silver joined us and we ran into Castle O, things got… well, interesting

… Okay, we got lost. So very, very, lost. Papa was in the process of pulling the correct lever to open one of the doors, when Silver decided to pull the other lever at the same time, forcing papa to fall into the pit. He had to warp out (ending up back in Sandy) and we had to wait… again. Fortunately Setto was cool with it all and was enjoying all the crazy antics, which was good; I honestly thought he would get annoyed with those two jokin’ around.

In the midst of running around, Buckline got left behind. Instead of telling us to wait up, he got frustrated and left.    We had to go on without him.

When we had to input the password of the day to go further into Castle O, Hi-Ho-Silver decided to play the Guessing Game. Took a while, but we got through, nabbed the Crest, and got out of Dodge with a Chainspell-Escape from papa.

After leaving and disbanding party, I got a message from Bucky saying he wanted to go get the Yagudo Crest right then and there, only he wanted to go in with just me. So, we went back, dying many a time and were fortunate that there were other adventurers fighting off some of the stronger Yagudo and clearing a path for us. After more running, hiding, and dying, we reached the location of the Crest and Bucky got it, only to have no other choice but to Death Warp to get the heck out. I’ll never look at chicken the same way again.

The Foster Linkshell System — Working For You

In other news, seems I ran into new friends and a new linkshell ^^ Ran into fellow kitty extraordinaire Ondaraknes while working on some crafting. She asked me if I would make the cooking test item, Vegetable Gruel (the guild didn’t have it in stock). I wanted to do it for free (since I feel bad to take money from folks who ask for help like that), but she insisted and gave me 4k O.o

Later on, when I was finish with Cooking for the day, I decided to run around and finish some quests that I had started AGES ago One of which was quest to retrieve the Sand Charm from the evvvil pirates. YARRR~! I went to Selbina and was going back and forth between it and Mhaura. When we reached the port, I ran into Ondaraknes again with her buddy, kitty extrodinaire #2, Girlygirl. They were huntin’ pirates too, but were after the Notorious Monster, Blackbeard. After talkin’ to them for a while, they invited me to their linkshell, Ashamen. They’re a nice bunch of people and I do feel a bit more at home here than I have in other linkshells over the past lil’ bit.

The coolest part? This is Setto’s linkshell. O.o Coincidences are funny that way ^.^

So yea… remember what I said in a previous entry about having oodles of money, or some such thing?

Before we call in the Star Onion Brigade and have them dish out their brand of “unique” justice on some innocent passerby, I’ll say it now: it was all my doing.

There I was, just a-walkin’ down the street, singing “Do-wa-diddy-diddy-da-diddy-doo,” when suddenly I was struck by a case of the Gotta-Get-Me-Some. Ya know: the urge to splurge? That twinkle in your eye similar to Qiqirn and the Clink-Clink? Yea, that urge. And since it’s been over a year since I’ve had 100, 000 gil in my possession… I can’t lie; I was feeling like a fat cat with a fat wallet, and I wasn’t afraid to spend, spend, spend!

Whilst doing some window shopping in Windurst, it dawned on me that I was missing some spells. Okay, a good chunk of them So I headed to the Federal Magic Reserve nd bought some spells at a decent price: no way was I gonna pay more at the AH than I needed to, plus Windy was 1st in the Conquest Rankings at the time, making it the perfect moment for splurging

Not content with Windy Wallet Dominance, I headed to Jeuno to continue my Reign of Terror and bought more spells. More!!! Bwa, ha, ha, ha, ha…

Next thing you know, I’m staring at the lint balls at the bottom of meh wallet >.>

*le sighhhhhhhhhhh* What’s a kitty to do?

As I was heading back to my Jeuno Rent-a-Room, I heard the oddest thing:

Mysterious Voice: Pssst.

Me: <.< … >.>

Mysterious Voice: PSSSSSSSSSSST!

Me: O.o???

Mysterious Voice: *throws a rock at my head*

Me: >.o sunuva-

Mysterious Voice: You lookin’ for some gilzzzzz?

Me: o.o

Mysterious Voice: I know where you can get some gilzzzz…

Then a Galka in a Vermilion Robe came out from the alley, grabbed me by the tail, and took me to Ru’Ann Garden. *As an aside, Buckline doesn’t want me to go off with strangers, even if they have Gummi Chocos on them. Or have other people touch my tail. So if he was there, he would’ve punched that Galka’s teeth in, or gave him the number of a dental hygenist ’cause his breath was really stinky*

The mystery chap introduced himself as Dancing with Gerbils and told me that I could make good money by shaking down Tarutarus. Being desperate, I decided to give it a go. I was grabbing Tarus by their ank… er, feet… no, wait… stubs. I was grabbing them by their stubs left and right; shaking them like salt and pepper shakers ’til loose change and bubble gum fell out their pockets. It’ll be a slow climb, but I’ll get back to my once bountiful pockets!

Okay, so none of that actually happened. At least from the Galka onward. I am slightly broke. Not as much as before, thankfully. Did a lil’ farming and got back into crafting (actually made a profit, too!)

ACTUAL ACHIEVEMENTS THIS WEEK:

• Ding! White Mage level 38; finally got to use Teleport-Altep & Yhoat and gained Inventory +2! xD
• Ding! Black Mage 30! Good times!
• Ding! Cooking level 13~! Bug Broth FTW!

Also found out that Dr. Shantotto was conducting more experiments and has found a way to rip a hole in the Space-Time continuum… again. <.< Seems there are other Vana’diels out there, all exactly the same as Seraph, only with different people on it. Who knew!? Anyhoo, the worlds are merging and there’s no way to stop it. Thanks, Doc! >_>’ According to Astrological Maps, Seraph is on a one-way course to a world called Bismarck. The gravitation pull will be so great, that Seraph will be no more…

I imagine the surgical procedure to turn a flaming, six-winged Angel into a 10-billion foot long white whale is a painful one… if not messy.

To prepare for the oncoming collision, I have created an uber-bunker beneath the catacombs of my Mog House that is water-resistant, sound-proof, and yes, can withstand Meteor (it’s the secret to beating Absolute Virtue…) We don’t have any food though: My moogle used it all for this, my final Achievement for the week that happened today, February 28:

TALLY-HOOOOOO~!

I’ve been sitting here on the porch of my Mog House, sipping some Moogle Ale (I swear, my Moogle laced this with something, but I can’t put my finger on it. It’s like he melted a package of Gummi Chocos, blended it with Orange Juice and called it a day! O.o But, I digress), when I reached into my pocket and pulled out a nice, sparkly ball. Thought it was my missing Lucky Marble, but turns out it was only one of  my linkpearls.

That got me to thinking: what’s in a Linkshell, besides a pearl and a chewy, meaty centre?

I’ve mentioned a couple of linkpearls in the past, but to be honest, I haven’t used them in a while. Mainly because they’re always empty. It’s rather sad, especially since these are “Family Shells” (ya know, where everyone acts like a big ol’ family), but when the patriarch and/or matriarch forgets about the shell… well… These are the kinds of shells that feel like home to me, where I don’t feel afraid to jazz it up with the members, so to see them shrivel up and becoming a shell of their former existence (no pun intended there, kids!) it’s kinda depressing. It’s like the ‘Family’ decided to jump ship or something. <.<’

Then there’s the other type of more social shells that I find myself wandering into where the atmosphere is more lively, but I don’t feel like I fit in any. Don’t get me wrong; the folks are really nice and all. More often than not, they talk about things that are Endgame related (interesting to hear, but seems like all they talk about), or there’s some inside joke of some sorts that completely flies over my head, etc. etc. So I never really know what to say, and I shy away from it all. At this point, it seems like I have the pearl equipped for the sake of having it on. O.o’

So, what’s a kitty to do? Right now I feel like ‘The Littlest Hobo‘:

It would be nice to feel like a part of a shell again. To be able to have idle chit chat with folks and joke around; and be able to do the events that they plan for the shell. But I have a feeling that won’t happen >.>’

Perhaps this is a bizarre revelation shining the light on my social awkwardness and my desire to stick with people whom I already know rather than make the effort to meet new people. However, those whom I consider a friend are never around anymore or not around as much. Such is life. People come and go.

Maybe I should just be a Kitty-for-Hire instead of being associated with any one ‘Shell’. Or maybe I should quit adventuring altogether and open up a Moogle Ale Brewery. :3 Seriously, this stuff is doing crazy things to my mind! I could make a fortune on this stuff…

Maybe I should reconsider selling this stuff…

*ahem* So as this installment of  Minee’s Philosophy Corner comes to an end, I’m left to ponder my next move. Should I jettison my pearls and forget about joining a linkshell for the rest of my days? Should I hold onto the hope of finding a new home for myself in these times where less people are venturing forth in Vana’diel?

Whichever way the wind blows, I will follow. Me and my Moogle Ale.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping your toes clean and your hands dry… or something of the sort.

I’ve made some small steps to getting my Red Mage act together (can’t buy the shiny gear I want yet, but I’m gettin’ there too). I took a break from the everyday adventuring and decided to spend some time leveling some skills. So I went to my secret hideaway at Aydeewa Subterrane and started spamming my Enhancing and Healing magic over… and over… and over again. I started to fall asleep half the time, but my Moogle’s Super Secret Mog Ale kept me a-goin’. (I think he laced it with something… for whatever reason, I’m tasting cheese…)

Anyhoo, something else that was keeping me up is my friend, a humble lil’ Phlebotomic Slug who hangs out by the ledge just outside my Sanctuary.

My new friend, Mojo Jojo. :3

He never gave me his name, so I gave him one: Mojo Jojo.  He’s quite the complex lil’ thing; I think all the problems in the world would be solved if he were in charge. We have lots of engaging conversations:

ON LIFE:

Me: Do you believe that we’re the only sentient beings in our universe?

Jojo: I dunno. Hold on, I need to scratch meh bum.

ON POLITICS:

Me: Why must we constantly compete with the other nations for land?

Jojo: Because the higher ups are digging for cookies that were buried long ago by the moon people… and/or Fenrir.

Me: … O.o

ON FOOD:

Me: This chocolate cake is delicious!

Jojo: *too busy eating his trail of primordial ooze*

So yeah, he’s quite the knowledgeable bloke. :3

Well, one day as I was coming in to greet him, the most embaaaaarasing thing happened: I checked him o.o I started apologizing profusely; I didn’t want him to think that I was checkin’ him out in… ya know… ‘that way’. He said it was all gravy, baby. I did notice something interesting about Mojo Jojo:

The Phlebotomic Slug seems incredibly tough.

It seems to have high evasion and defense.

… I smell skill up opportunity.

Me: Hey Jojo, is it all right if I can spar with you to get some skill ups?

Jojo: Well, I don’t know…

Me: I’ll give you Ginger Cookies! :3

Jojo: Have at you!

So off I went fighting Mojo Jojo with my gimp skills.

He smacked me into oblivion… and stole my Ginger Cookies out of my pockets. I did get some skill ups from him, but still. Every time after that, I just kept practicing my Healing and Enhancing until after a few days of grinding, I finally got them capped.

When I wasn’t magic spamming, I went to Eastern Altepa Desert and ran amok with my buddy, Romidiant. Not only did Romi get to Level 38, but I capped out my Exp, too. Seeing that 18, 799 Exp Points taunting me is eeeeevil! Hopefully I’ll be able to do g3 soon. In the meantime, I’ll look for more opportunities to skill up and concentrate on other jobs (Black Mage, I’m lookin’ at yous!).

One thing’s for certain: No one messes with Mojo Jojo. Not even Chuck Norris.

Hope all’s well in your lives and that you’re enjoying the wonders of Valentione’s Day. Buckline and I are planning to partake in some lovey-doveyness this weekend when we’re both free. Maybe I can bribe him to give me chocolate >.>

Lately, I’ve been bouncing back and forth with keeping my subjobs up-to-snuff. Not that I’m not interested in getting that out of the way, it’s just that I keep looking at my Red Mage… and realize that I need to pump it up some O.o Both gear and skill-wise. Such is the curse of low cash flow and Level Sync for me, it seems: Level up too fast and my skills suffer, plus I’ll need all new gear that I can’t afford worth a lick (V_V)  I’ve been REALLY good lately though; pretty much been holding a Garage Sale and getting rid of things I don’t need so much. That, plus the power of farming as gained me quite a bit more pocket money than I’m used to. :3 I’m planning on doing more farming in the upcoming days, in between trying to figure out how to get my skills capped and leveling my subs.

Speaking of skills, I spent some time doing just that: leveling skills. Finally got my Enhancing Magic Skill capped, and Healing Magic is on its’ way. But I have to figure out how to get my combat Magic skills up, as well of my Sword @.@ I was thinking of doing Campaign, but my experience there has been… er, less than stellar Any suggestions as to what I should do to help my skill up building is greatly appreciated. ^_^ Oh, and I took my Fellow Romidiant back to the Desert to level him up some and get myself closer to my Level 60 exp cap. Romi’s now level 36 ^_^ w00t-tastic!

I started tapping into my inner Dark Knight, and so far, so good. It’s sittin’ pretty at Level 15, so I’m getting there slowly ^_^ I’ll be able to get rid of those DRK Spell Scrolls soon. Hooray for more inventory space! Yes, I know I said I’m gonna start leveling Black Mage and Ninja, but… getting rid of those Spell Scrolls are my priority now. I have ADD that way, methinks =^.^=

That’s about all for now. Dang, I’m hungry. I’m gonna go eat and plot now. What, exactly, am I plotting? I can’t tell you… ’cause I still have no clue myself O.o
